Betty is looking forward to sharing a summer house while on a well-deserved break.

However Trudy, whom she only knows slightly, chatters incessantly; and then there are the other housemates - Buck, a sexy lout who is always on the make with women all the time and sweet, withdrawn Keith who carries a shovel and a mysterious hatbox.

Add to the mix landlady Mrs Siezmagraff and her derelict friend not to mention an apparent laugh track coming from the house itself. The potential exists for Betty's summer to be completely ruined.
